About US

Donna and Kirk have been married for over 27 years.  In 2010, Donna started a CPA firm out of the corner of their bedroom. At the end of 2015, they stepped out in faith and acquired another CPA firm, with Kirk leaving his corporate job to join Donna full-time. In Fall of 2021, they successfully sold their CPA firm so they could have a life again, LOL, and so Donna could follow her passion of helping small businesses navigate the world of entrepreneurship.

   While owning a CPA firm, Donna & Kirk worked with a lot of small business owners and realized many "don't know what they don't know". There seemed to be a lack of information on what the true foundation of a business is.  So, when they sold their business, Donna launched Business Harmony LLC to focus on helping start-ups and established business owners on their entrepreneurial journey, especially in the area of what they really need to know when it comes to owning and growing a business. 

Donna earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in the mid 90’s and then her CPA license in 2010 after being a stay-at-home Mom for 10 years. In 2021 she graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.  Since 2022 she has served as an SBA T.H.R.I.V.E Emerging Leaders Business Coach. Donna's education and experience has put her in a perfect position to help individuals and other business owners. 

Kirk earned his Undergrad degree in Business and his Master's Degree in Accounting. He has 20+ years of experience in Business Operations and 8+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning. He earned is Enrolled Agent License (EA) in 2010.  With his corporate operations background and his tax experience, he is also in a perfect position to help individuals and business owners.
